Stage 1: Verification of Details

At the time of registration on the AISSAC website, candidates will not be allowed to change their personal details such as name, father’s/mother’s/guardian’s name, date of birth, and category. However, candidates can make corrections in their Domicile State and gender, if erroneously filled during AISSEE 2023 registration on NTA portal. Candidates should carefully confirm both details. If, at the time of physical reporting at the allotted school, the candidate's information does not match with the information confirmed by the candidate on the portal, action will be taken.

Stage 2: Registration and Filling-in of Choices of Schools

For registration and filling-in of choices of schools, candidates should log in to the AISSAC portal using their AISSEE 2023 Application Number and a One Time Password sent to their registered mobile number and email ID. After entering the OTP, candidates will also be required to set their password. Upon successful login, the candidate’s details will automatically be fetched from the database of AISSEE 2023 registration. Candidates will be asked to reconfirm the details. Only after confirmation of details, the candidate’s registration will be considered successful. Candidates not registering on the AISSAC 2023 portal, will be considered for the allocation of the seats in any other school other than the school filled during AISSEE 2023 registration on the NTA portal.

Stage 3: Choice Filling

The choice filling of schools will be based on the combinations opted by the candidates during AISSEE 2023 registration. The Sainik School filled by candidates during AISSEE 2023 registration on the NTA portal will be by default the first choice and cannot be changed in the Round 1 of the e-counselling. Schools filled by the candidates already studying in New Sainik School under 60 Route will appear on the portal by default and will be non-editable. It is important for candidates to carefully prioritize the schools while filling in the choices while bearing in mind that only the choices filled in would be made available for seat allocation and only ONE seat from among the choices filled-in will be made available to the candidate.

Stage 4: Allotment of Seats

After the choice filling process, the allotment of seats will be done based on the AISSEE 2023 rank, category, and the choices filled by the candidates. The allotment is done based on rank in the merit list under the candidate’s category. The total number of seats in each category for a school depend on the vacancy in the school.So check the seat-matrix while filling the options.

Stage 5: Accept, Reconsider or Exit

• Accepting the Allotted Seat: After the seat allotment, if the candidate is satisfied with the allotted school, they can accept the seat by clicking on the ‘Accept’ button on the portal. They then need to pay the requisite fee to confirm their admission.
• Reconsidering the Allotted Seat: If the candidate is not satisfied with the allotted school, they can choose to be reconsidered for the next round of seat allotment. They can do this by clicking on the ‘Reconsider’ button on the portal. In this case, they will be considered for seat allotment in the next round, based on their rank and the availability of seats in their higher preference schools.
• Exiting the Admission Process: If the candidate does not wish to continue with the admission process, they can choose to exit. They can do this by clicking on the ‘Exit’ button on the portal. Once they confirm their decision to exit, they will not be considered for seat allotment in the subsequent rounds.
