Class 6 Exam Pattern

The entrance examination for Class 6 consists of four sections, each carrying a specific number of questions and marks:

• Language: 25 questions, 2 marks for each, totaling 50 marks.
• Mathematics: 50 questions, 3 marks for each, totaling 150 marks.
• Intelligence: 25 questions, 2 marks for each, totaling 50 marks.
• General Knowledge: 25 questions, 2 marks for each, totaling 50 marks.

Exam Duration

For Class 6, the exam duration is 150 minutes, scheduled from 02:00 pm to 04:30 pm.

Passing Marks for Admission

Sainik Schools Admission: Candidates (SC/ST Exempted) must secure a minimum of 25% marks in each subject and 40% marks in aggregate in the AISSEE 2024 exam.

Admission to Approved New Sainik Schools: Every Candidate (including SC/ST) must secure a minimum 25% marks in each subject and 40% marks in aggregate.
