Sainik School Application Procedure: Step-by-Step Guide

Step I: Registration

Candidates are required to register online at https://aissee.nta.nic.in . Candidates need to provide personal details like their name, date of birth, identification type, mobile number, email address, and complete postal address.

Step II: Fill Application Form

After registration, candidates will fill out the application form. Candidates can edit their details except for their mobile number and email address before submitting.

Part I: Choice of Schools and Examination Cities

Candidates will select their preferred schools and examination cities based on the details provided in the Information Bulletin. There's no restriction on the choice of exam cities, and the allocation of centers is done by a computer without human intervention. Candidates can check out the List of Sainik Schools and List of New Sainik Schools pages. Additionally, check the Previous Year Cut Offs to decide on choice.

Part II: Uploading of Scanned Images and Certificates

Next, candidates will upload scanned images of their photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression. Additionally, they'll need to upload documents like their domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and birth certificate. The residence/domicile certificate should be issued by the concerned authority of the State Government/Union Territory.

Step III: Payment of Fee

Once the application form is completed and the necessary documents are uploaded, candidates can pay the examination fee and submit the application.
